WORLD YOUTH DAY FUNDRAISER w/Schwan's Home Service
Wednesday Jun 4, 2014 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM
Beginning June 4th and running for 45 days, Schwan's Home Service is partnering with the World Youth Day pilgrims in an attempt to raise funds for the pilgrims' trip to World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow, Poland. This is how it works: for any orders that are placed online (schwans.com), with the Schwan's mobile app or by calling the order in to 1-888-SCHWANS (1-888-724-9267), Schwan's will donate 20% to 40% of the total purchase price toward the World Youth Day pilgrim's effort. When using the Schwan's website, there is a tab at the bottom of the page marked "Schwan's Cares Fundraising". Click on that tab and you will be taken to a new page, where there is a red button marked "Create or Find a Fundraiser". There is also a search box on this page where a person can type in the name of the fundraiser (World Youth Day Pilgrimage - 2016) or type in the ID number, which is 9812. A new page will appear with the link for the fundraiser, which a person can click on to find out details about the event. On the bottom of the link page, a prompt will appear asking "Would you like to support this fundraiser?" If so, click "Yes" and you will be taken to the main Schwan's page where you can begin shopping. The fundraising goal is $10,000, and there is an added benefit: even after the 45 days are up, any orders that are placed and credited toward the fundraiser for a full calendar year will result in Schwan's donating 5% of the total purchase price toward the World Youth Day fundraiser. If you have any questions, please contact any of the youth involved with the fundraiser, Father Don or Schwan's representative Earl Kennedy at (715) 450-1064 or via e-mail at radiodoc79@gmail.com . Thanks in advance for your support!
