Immaculate Conception's preparation for Confirmation is a two year process, usually begun in the freshman year of high school, although high school juniors and seniors with a commitment to prepare for the sacrament may also enter the program. Regis Catholic School and public school students, whose families are members of the parish, participate in the program together. Candidates meet in small groups, lead by adult facilitators (catechists). Year one of preparation (normally 9th graders) requires seven sessions. These sessions are normally on Sunday evening, after a monthly Sunday night Mass. Year two of preparation (normally 10th graders) requires thirteen sessions. Meeting times for each group will vary, with Wednesday nights, Sundays before or after Mass, and Sunday evenings being possible options. Locations may be at the parish or in candidates homes. Each small group session builds on the journey toward Confirmation, with the second year having the addition of two sessions with a candidate's sponsor (dates TBA). Other requirements are a minimum ten hours of 'Living Your Faith' service hours each year of preparation. Click below for specific 'Living Your Faith' service hour details. In order for this program to work, small group facilitators are needed - contact the Faith Formation/PREP Office about becoming a small group facilitator.

How should candidates turn in items due? Our Church remains open from 7:30 am till 4:30 pm on all days of the week. You can enter via the main door of off Highland Ave. or at the circular drive off of Sherwin Ave. On the podium located near the Sherwin Ave doors, there is a box for turning in ANY AND ALL CONFIRMATION ITEMS. Consider spending some time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament or at our parish Shrine of the Blessed Virgin Mary while you are there--follow the guidelines posted. This is still sacred space and a quiet place to pray-A SANCTUARY.
Candidates may also turn in forms to their small group leaders, mail them, or email them. Make sure to mark any mailed items with the school address and "Attention: Joan Cinotto, Faith Formation Office". Please email any forms to [email protected] Additionally, google forms are posted below.
