Mikayla has a deep love for Jesus, sacred music, and the church. Growing up in a small town in southern Minnesota, she took part in every opportunity to make music in the community, especially at her hometown parish. In high school, she studied trumpet, piano, and vocal music, and then furthered her studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where she graduated with a degree in Music. Mikayla has been the Music Director at Immaculate Conception since 2021, and loves the work she does.
