• Holy Hour for a New Pastor

  HOLY HOUR FOR A NEW PASTOR will be observed at Immaculate Conception Parish this Wednesday, September 5th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Every member of the parish is encouraged to join us as we pray for a new priest to shepherd our church and for vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and religious life.

• MUSICIAN/SINGER MEETING

  Wednesday Sep 5, 2018 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

  CALLING SINGERS AND MUSICIANS! -- Musicians of the parish, current and future, will be meeting Wednesday, September 5th at 6:30 pm in Father Klink Hall to celebrate the beginning of choir Sundays beginning September 9th, to eat finger food and desserts, to sing a little and talk a lot. This includes current and future members of the Alleluia Choir, Youth Choir, Family Choir and the 8:30 and 10:30 choirs as well as instrumentalists and accompanists. If you have ever thought of joining one of these groups, please come and meet the people involved with them! You can, of course, decide at the last minute to come and just show up, but it would be great to hear from you that you are attending!

• Free Car Seat Check

  Get your child's car seat inspected by a certified car seat technician. Car seats are checked for proper size and installation, as well as possible recalls. Learn about correct use of car seats and ensure proper seat belt fit for older children. Child and vehicle must be present. Expectant parents are welcome. Allow 30 min. per car seat. Registration is not required.
  2017 dates are First Thursday of each month 4-7 p.m.

  Memory Café meets at the Chippewa Valley Museum Auditorium in Carson Park the second Tuesday of each month. The café is a comfortable way for you and your care partner to have fun and socialize with others who have mild cognitive impairment, early to moderate
  Alzheimer's or other types of dementia, and those who worry about memory problems.

  Quilters and knitters will meet Thursday, September 13th from 9 am to 2 pm in Father Klink Hall. There will be a short meeting to discuss what the group will be doing and suggestions are welcomed! Please bring a friend or someone who might be interested...all are welcome! Please bring your sewing machines and knitting needles...we will serve coffee and a snack!

Explore Dan Buettner’s research that highlights nine key points that can add quality years to your life. His research focuses on the Blue Zones in the world, where many of the individuals live happily into their nineties. We will focus on how to bring these nine key points into daily life in order to add quality years to your lifespan. There is no cost for this event, which will be held Wednesday, September 26th from 6:30 to 8 pm in Fr. Klink Hall at Immaculate Conception Parish in Eau Claire.
