  The Women's Bible Study will resume on Tuesday, September 16th, and it's not too late to join! Meetings will be Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 in Father Klink Hall. The group is currently studying the Gospel of John in a book written by Stephen Ray. The study will resume with the fourth chapter of John's Gospel. • DIOCESAN GOSPEL OF LIFE CELEBRATION

  Wednesday Sep 17, 2014 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM

  The annual Gospel of Life celebration will be Wednesday, September 17th at Immaculate Conception Parish. Bishop William Callahan will celebrate Mass at 6 pm followed by the keynote presentation by John Morales in Father Klink Hall at 7 pm. The presentation is titled "Pro-Life Champions: Winning Hearts and Minds". Morales will emphasize why we should be full of courage and hope and will also share how abortion painfully touched his own life. Morales will also show a brief excerpt of his film "40", which is a powerful documentary exploring the abortion debate in the four decades since the Roe v. Wade ruling. Everyone is invited.

  Food Share will be collected the weekend of September 27th & 28th. Please place unopened, non-perishable food goods at the entrances to the church. If you would prefer to give cash, place it in an envelope marked "Food Share" and drop it in the collection basket. Items collected will be stored in the Food Share work room in the back of the church. Parishioners who may need a little help meeting food needs are invited to stop in and pick up food items. A portion of the donations will be taken to St. Francis Food Pantry while the remaining food will be available in the church Food Share.
