The People of Praise prayer meeting will be held Monday at 6:30 pm in the Oak Room.

Following the 5:30 pm Mass Thursdays, Father Don will present a short video about one aspect of our Faith. Each video will run from 30 to 45 minutes in length and will be shown in Father Klink Hall. There will be time for discussion and questions following each presentation, and for the next several weeks the videos will be from the series "In the Footprints of God" by Steve Ray, who offers a very informative and entertaining presentation. Refreshments will also be served. Plan to come to Mass and join us, or if you cannot make it to Mass the videos will begin at around 6:00 pm.

FIRST FRIDAY is August 7th with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Adoration beginning after the 7 am Mass. There will be an opportunity for Anointing of the Sick, Confession and praying of the Divine Mercy Chaplet before Benediction at 8:30 am.

Annual Excelente in Ethics Simposium

HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital is hosting an Annual Excellence in Ethics Symposium on Wednesday, August 19,2015. This years theme is "Engaging Our Aging Population: A Person-Centered Approach." Caring for the elderly and those with dementia in a holistic manner takes into account the specific physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of each person. It is an approach grounded in a mututally beneficial partnership established between the care-receiver and caregiver. This conference will offer educational and inspirational presentations by three nationally known experts in the field who will offer practical insights from their own perspectives and personal experiences. Person-centered care will be explored from all viewpoints: the patient and family, the physician, and the caregiver. The registration fee of $25 includes continental breakfast and lunch.
